hello my fellow great grandfathers.
i am extremely annoyed with the current situation of my internet.
anyway! tomorrow (today) is the last day of 2006
i think it was my happiest and saddest year, this year.
i liked it .
but i didnt accomplish anything on my 2006 resolutions. but whatthe heck no one ever completes that impossible list anyway.

and anyway thank you other bestfriend izzie for yesterday :) i love you so much thanks for being there for me when my world came falling down.

i am going to be sweet sixteen next year and the fact that i've got olevels + probably paper right on the 2nd of october pisses me off.

i learnt something today,. i think everything happens for a reason and when you're at the lowest point in your life and you feel that God isnt there anymore, He is. and he works in so many different amazing ways, like sending people to mend the wounds and talking through them. and at the end of the trial you hear His voice and it's just so amazing because you're so comforted He was there for you all the while.

There was this man, a pastor or speaker or smt at this church and he was telling this story, see. he was having his hair cut and at the same time, telling the barber about Christ. and then the barber said "i don't believe there's a God because if there is, why is there still so much suffering in the world."

So the guy got really annoyed because he was unable to answer that question and so after getting his hair cut, he went out right, and he saw this man with really long and shaggy hair. And so the guy followed the longhaired man into a cafe and then ran back to the barber and said "Hey follow me, I want to show you something."

And so he led the barber tothe longhaired man and said. "I dont think there are any barbers in the world"

And the barber said "Why do you say that? What are you saying, I'm a barber."

So the guy said "You said that there is no God because there is suffering in the world, But Look at that man there with the long hair. If there were barbers in the world, then why is his hair so long?"

And the barber said "But that's different, I'm a barber, but that is because he does not come to me"

And the guy said "Exactly."

i have spent 300 $ on christmas presents.

...and im not done yet.

screw saving money and being budget man, christmas is a time for giving! how many times a year do you get to do that man.

out of your approximately 25550 days in your approximate 70 years of life, only 70 days will be a time to spend like crazy on other people. (which, for us girls, is terribly hard because we always end up buying things for ourselves.) that = 0.27397% (truncated value) of our lives. okay that excludes wedding days and birthdays. so at maximum 2.7397% ? its still hardly anything.

i feel so happy when i buy presents.
because sometimes i feel like such a samaritan i buy... some other things for.. myself...

anyway!
today when i went shopping i was surrounded by many many polite and courteous people. singaporeans are slowly getting a change of heart and it makes me happy :) when people are nice to you you tend to be nice back so you know, pass it on!

-OK i cant remember .
- sat in a LORRY for all transport here (miss leong tricked us she said it was a bUS it was FAR from that it was a bloody police lorry like when they transport construction workers.)
- saw the tsunami memorial places & cemetery
- saw houses in really bad condition and it made me realised how blessed i am

memorable things:
- the time when jess asked me to set the alarm for 5.30 singapore time thinking that thailand time is one hr faster so we got up and changed and everything and went down and realised we had woken at FOUR THIRTY thailand time cos thai time is 1 hr slower.

Yesterday i spent the whole day completely hooked on this amazingzing book.
Seriously, i could not put it down. Even during tuition after I did a sum & Mr heng was going to mark it I would sneakread two or three lines. It's incredible you all should read it. um, girls.

I lovelove books about beautiful, rich, successful women who get the hot guys in the end :D & if you do too, you should really read this.

And WOW Louise Bagshawe is so smart. I loved the twist it's like whoa, I would never have thought of that. It's a little boring at the beginning but everything is pieced together perfectly at the end and it's like a feel-good book that'll make you think about it for a long time. i lovedddd ittt!

Okay I will stop. But :D:D:D:D:D im always so happy when i read a nice book.

Today was a serious waste of day.
I'm getting really annoyed at how training is right now. See, we've had four sessions with Edmund. And the first lesson he practically talked 3/4 the lesson and then we swam like 800m easy. The second session I didnt go and I heard it was pretty sucky. And the third session was cancelled and today it rained real heavy. And I brought my stuff on all four days! Waste of time waiting for the ridiculous 2pm middle-of-the-day (literally) and waste of effort carrying such a big bag. I mean yesss I'm sure he's like a really good coach but what the hell he is so lazy in getting us started and drilling us.

Anyway today i watched centre stage at jia's and julie fell asleep most of it even though she slept at 7, what a serious pig. Ten years down the road you're gonna see her with a beard and pot belly. Like those dirty old men who do nothing with their lives but dig nose and drink beer and um, sleep.

I watched shopgirl at home. It was kinda sweet I guess but kinda boring I fastfowarded alot of it. And white haired and balding daddy-like steve martin having sex with a pretty girl is really really really disgusting.

Today I woke up at 1.15, and I was like, oh shit ! cos i had class today at 130.
So I showered and rushed like 687647
and I was almost getting a cab and i called the place & was like
"hi can you please tell my teacher i'm gonna be late cos i just woke up. my teacher is the short one"

and the guy on the other line was like "oh. f----- (forgot his name) is off today. i think your class is tomorrow."

okay so i went home and did nothing for five hours.
